Where am I in the process

Where are you guys seeing these eBenefit dates? When I go to ebenefits, and click on manage then status tracking I don't see any dates or any other place on that website?
When you click on what the status is, like claims received you click on it and there should be a date range.

If you click on "Upload Documents" it shows a date range and a list of your claims.

If you click on the date of your "open claim" it will take you to that claim. Your dates will be towards the top.

Something must be jacked up because all the places I've looked that you guys said there is absolutely nothing. On a good note I called up to DC this morning and they said my PEB was released to the VA. I wish I could post a screenshot of what my ebenefits is showing.

Question: Did you guys get on ebenefits and manually apply for compensation? Because there are no open applications, no open claims, and no open appeals. I just figured since I was going through a MED Board that it was all done for me.

No, it came up on ebenefits automatically. Do you have anything showing up on Vets.gov? That's great that your claim is with the VA! Did they say when it went to the VA?

Good advice. Try Vets.gov. Make sure you open it in google chrome otherwise it might not work.

I have called the PEB in washington for the last week or so, Today being the final day i will Call. They will not reveal the information if i was found fit or Un-fit. They said i am done being voted on and in the Q&A phase. They said they cannot give out that information to contact my peblo in a week or two and he will be able to see if I was found Fit or Unfit. Really annoying. But whatever. good to know i at least have a decision. whats the usual VA turnaround for Findings coming back after being found unfit?

From what I have been seeing on these threads, the VA turnaround is pretty quick right now. Close to 2 weeks, although historically I wouldn't rely on that timeline too much, as things change so quickly. When did your case get accepted at the PEB? Have you tried calling the VA to see if they are working on ratings? If it's in the Q&A phase I would think that it would be unfit.

I would hope i would be found unfit, My narsum and NMA were pretty much to the point of not being able to perform my tasks as an 0331 (Mahchinegunner) with Asthma. My board Was accepted to the PEB August 30th 2017. They said it was done being voted on Last Thursday and expect about 2 days in Q&A Ill call my peblo end of this week to see if i cant get some info. If not ill call VA probably Thursday or Friday and see what is going on. I wished I was more in the Loop, Family of 3 and its hard to plan out a life with not knowing when ill be out or what ill be rated at.

If your stuff is sent to the VA you have been found UNFIT. Your PEBLO will be able to tell you if in fact your stuff was sent to the VA when you call. Should be around three weeks or less at the VA if that is the case. From my understanding every case goes through the QA phase regardless if you're "FIT" or "UNFIT".

Called the PEB again today. He said he was away from his desk until Thursday so to call him back then and he would look to see what was happening with my case.

I called the PEB today, they told me it was being sent back to the VA. I said 'so it was found unfit' and he said 'um' and I said 'you can't say that?' and he said 'no' and I said 'but I can say that? and he said yes'. So I'm thinking this is a hard core "So you're saying there is a chance" situation.

I called my actual PEBLO office here, and was told that 'there were no notes on my case, but maybe it was being sent back to the VA because they need more information.' I'm pretty sure that is not the case especially since it's been at the PEB for about 45 business days already and was in the adjudication process for 2 weeks, but I'm not sure the timeline I should expect my PEBLO to get caught up with what it is that I know already....

That sounds like great news to me! I think that there is a bit of a delay when it gets sent to the VA and when your PEBLO gets notified that it is with the VA. I've seen quite a few people find out 2 days after it was sent. Did he say when they sent it? Or did it seem like it was still in the process of being sent to the VA? Sorry for all of the questions. It helps to get an idea of what other cases are looking like, even though I know no two cases are the same. I'm really hoping to get some good news when I call the guy at the PEB again tomorrow. I think he sympathized with me because I told him my PEBLO is retiring and doesn't really communicate with me.

I was told pretty much the same exact thing today when contacting the PEB, then called my Peblo and he said that he has no notes that it still shows im in the Q&A phase after being voted he said they probably made a decission. The people at the PEB wont answer the "Fit or UN-fit" question but the guy did say it got sent to the VA which i would Assume is for the rating process. He said the Turn-Around for ratings is about 2 weeks...so i figure 4 to 6 more weeks until ratings are in lol.

From what here if to goes to the VA your probably found unfit

I called last Thursday the 12th of Oct and the PEB said my package was sent to the VA, and I called my PEBLO 10 minutes after I got off the phone with no answer. So I left a voicemail indicating that I needed to talk to her about my MED board package, and I haven't received a call or email back. Its quite frustrating when you're trying to make plans to move into the civilian sector when you can't get an honest answer, or even a courtesy call explaining certain aspects of the med board. When I get on here and not just this thread, I see opposing timelines for the PEB process, VA ratings, and PEBLO's being absolutely clueless about where MED Boards are located.

The way he worded it sounded like it was being sent to the VA, like it was in the process so it hadn't been sent yet.

My question is, while I'm waiting to find out my ratings, will my PEBLO at least know I'm unfit so I can schedule TRS and everything? At this point I'm happy to know my package at least moved, lol!

I would call the PEBLO back and inform them that if you don't hear from her, you'll have to call the PEB itself due to needing to plan. Maybe that will push her into gear?

I am beyond confused. I called the PEB this morning and the guy said that my case has been adjudicated and it was either sent to the VA or sent to my PEBLO. He said that if I don't hear from my PEBLO in the next few weeks then it went to the VA. He wouldn't give me a straight answer one way or the other.

I did the VA Chat system and this is what she said:
"As we researched your records, we determined you currently have a claim in process under the Integrated Disability Evaluation System (IDES). We received your claim on 04/03/2017, for multiple conditions. Our records indicate a proposed rating has not been completed yet."

I still don't know what to make of this. Any thoughts?
