Hello all,
My updated timeline is as follows:

VA Ratings Complete: 30OCT17
Back to PEB: 16NOV17 (VA had to resend over 300 cases bc corruption in the system)
QA Phase: 20NOV17
SIGNED FINDINGS: 29NOV17, 100%TDRL, 100%VA
Requested a retirement date of 12FEB18.

The PEB is moving guys. Keep your heads up.
If you get TDRL/PDRL you get 20 days of house/job hunting leave to go along with terminal if approved by your chain of command.
Best wishes to all and always get ahold of me if you need advice!

Congrats!!! Just in tine for the Holidays!!

Congratulations @mazzard1 I'm sure that is a huge relief to be done!

They push results on Tuesdays and Thursdays they said so hopefully you hear something today or tomorrow!

I called the PEB today and they said they sent my findings to the PEBLO yesterday. I asked who they sent them to, since I really don't have a PEBLO, they said they didn't know who my PEBLO was either... So now I'm not sure what is going to happen.

What number did you call to find out they sent your findings. My ratings have been done since the 20th and I have not heard anything.

I called 202-685-6418

I just asked for confirmation that they received my VA proposed ratings and I asked if they could confirm who my PEBLO/point of contact will be once they are done.

Good news! I am going in at 10 am tomorrow to sign!

I like everyone else it seems now signed my findings today as well. Apperenyly it takes about 10 days for your EAS to re update...so 62 days of leave on the books and 20 TAD as soon as the eas hits I'll be out within a week or two after.

Congrats brother!!!!!!

I understand your anger isn't directed towards me. I feel your pain. My package was sent on June 2nd. I have called my PEBLO once a week since the 45 day mark. She has emailed and called D.C. on numerous occasions to ask what the hold up is because the status of my package changed in the system and she didn't understand the note they wrote "in the system". That's when they told her the system was down. Yes the PEBLOs have access to the system but can't officially tell you anything and that information is only as good as what is put into it.
As I understand, "the system" is what they use to track your package and input disposition (anyone feel free to correct me if I am wrong) at each stage. Because nobody could input things into the system things got backed up. Even if the packages have been reviewed with handwritten notes, they still have to be transcribed into the system.

I called D.C. in August and was told the medical officer had my package and I should hear something in two weeks. Called them again last week (30 days after I last spoke with them) and they said it just went to the presiding officer that day. Things are moving but because of the backup it's twice as slow as usual and everyone is overdue on their timeline.
Usually the longer it takes the better chances of having an "UNFIT" finding. I know your patience is thin, but don't let your anxiety get the best of you. We will all be getting results soon. Good luck!
Don't feel too bad guys. How would you like it if you had to go through this kind of VA snafu for 39 years, before seeing any progress? That's what we who came out of Vietnam have dealt with. Almost every one of us that humped jungle ,played "king on the mountain" and "swamp patsie"
with the local 'gangstas', hooched with rats, rockapes, hordes of mosquitoes, poisonous centipedes as long as your forearm, venomous snakes...if bit, you were dead before you could finish a smoke ( if you had one).......(antivenom!!? What the h_ _ _ was that?), clothes and boots that were rotting off you (underwear = crotch-rot, aka: gangreen),night ambushes that could easily have you cuddling up with a local feline sniffing your face

awesome! best wishes!

Well, the DOD came back with 20%, so severance. I just don't know if I want to accept it or appeal. The only reason I would accept is because I am beyond ready to be done and move forward. My reasons to appeal are:

1. The VA rated me under Code 5201 "Limitation of Motion" even though my NARSUM states that I have Adhesive Capsulitis (Frozen Joint) so I think it should have been rated under Code 5200 which would have made it 30% instead of 20%.
2. I have nerve damage in my shoulder and experience frequent numbness from my first surgery. The VA rated 20% alone for radioculopathy, but the DOD didn't add this to my range of motion rating.

I kind of just want to be done and move on with my life though.

I know you

I know you just want to be done. But that 30% not only helps you but your family. You want to make sure, because of your limitations, you need secure s you and your family will be ok. Health insurance is both important and expensive. You already made this far. Try to the best of your ability to get what you need. I heard to process is harder when you get out. Also ive read alot of post were the appeal was successful.

APPEAL!

Appeal, appeal, appeal! I'm not sure if you remember reading from my posts, but I have nonconcurred with findings twice. I was originally found FIT back in May and went up to D.C. for the formal board Tuesday the 28th. They offered me a deal, to find me UNFIT for three conditions and place me on the PDRL. Obviously, I took the deal. The board was very fair to me and others I have reached out to have said the same. I would speak with a lawyer ASAP or reach out to other resources. Also, you can PM me anytime. I prepared my own appeal without speaking with a lawyer (I understand you are kind of remote) and would be happy to offer advice or help you in any way I can.

DON'T GIVE UP!

So, just talked to the PEB, and they said within the next week/ week and half I should be signing my findings. My question NOW is, after HQ gets my package how long of a time should I expect for the timeframe for my new EAS? Like am I looking at a couple of months, or am I looking at a month to forty-five days? My PEBLO said they would take into account any leave/ PTAD I rate, but I'll have like none unless I get the 20 days PTAD. Getting out in February/ March would be ideal for my family and I, but I don't want to get my hopes up. Also, I hit 7 and half years in March and as I understand it your severance pay is rounded to the year. So if for some reason my new EAS is in or past March will I be getting severance for 8 years or 7 years?
