Where to start with the process??

Good day all. Please forgive me if I have missed these questions/scenarios posted already. I have been searching for answers till my head hurt since last friday, but need more information. Long story short, I filled out the request to have a review of my discharge a long time ago..(cant remember when sadly) and had completely forgot about it as I honestly never expected anything to come of it. Well to my surprise, I received a letter in the mail stating that the DoD PDBR is re-characterizing my medical discharge with severance pay to permanent disability retirement at 60%. I have been able to google most of the answers, but still have more.
1. is there a website to see all the information like the VA has setup?
2. What timeframe should I be looking at from decision letter to actually receiving ID cards?
3. And most confusing question, the date signed on the letter was 10/27/2020. why did I just now receive it last friday 02/26/2021?

I do appreciate all input as I try and navigate this unforeseen adventure

Welcome Slick
I've just lurked around here mostly but to answer your 2nd question...I think there's no predictable time frame...unfortunately.
3. I got my approval the day before you (25 Feb) and it was signed 29 Oct 2020. No idea why there was such a delay. I too forgot about it and only have a start date because I emailed them my application to begin process (took a little over 3 yrs...).
As for your 1st question, I just happened to log into milconnect (?) and was surprised to find that I had a log in and that I was listed as a sponsor. No idea what this means yet. I decided to try after reading some posts on here where it was mentioned. It's all old Deers information except for my address/contact info.

Again, no idea what to expect but hopefully we get some news soon!
