who is around my timeline?

Hey, I am looking for people that are in the same time frame as me. My peb was accepted on 15OCT. I do not know anything about the process and can't find anyone that can help me.

You have a different PEB but they are running the same timeline. Slow and backed up. Seems like most people are looking at 2-5 months from being submitted to their branch's PEB until separation. I was submitted in September. Found unfit and rated in October/ early November and im still waiting for a final signature and orders.
Hello I believe my packet was submitted to PEB early October but signed my NARSUM mid September. My PEBLO told me my packet was awaiting final signatures as of Nov 25th. Does that mean she should know my ratings? I asked my MSC and he said he didn’t have that information. I’ve tried getting ahold of my PEBLO (email and calling) but she is hard to get a hold of to ask questions.

Your PEBLO 100% has access to your ratings. The DOD rating is considered unofficial until you receive your actual disposition from your PEBLO and your VA rating is just a proposed rating until you actually separate and the VA makes it official. But if you are waiting on your final signature from the PEB and you were found unfit your PEBLO can see your proposed ratings. Your MSC probably just doesn't want to get in trouble. My MSC gave me mine but asked me not to tell anyone he gave them to me like 3 times.

Appreciate it hopefully she emails me back or answers her phone. Hoping this final signature doesn’t take too long I’m on month 8 of my medboard and ready to get out.

Today was 3 full weeks waiting on the signature for me. Ive been in the Medboard for 12 months. Zero appeals or rebuttals. None of it makes any sense. Ive seen people get out already that started in June.

Out of curiosity, which final signature? Have you already signed your disposition from the PEB with your DOD rating?

My MSC gave me my disposition and ratings a month ago. Apparently its a big deal that he did that because its considered unofficial until you actually receive it from your PEBLO. Im waiting on the final signature from the PEB. Its the last step of the PEB. After that for the Army at least your 199 is generated you concur or appeal it and then you get orders and get out.

Your disposition and ratings are available weeks before your PEBLO tells you what they are. They play this game where they don't tell you because its considered unofficial until the PEB puts it on the actual document which for the Army is a DA 199.

That’s crazy I’m on month 8 but I had a month and half of no movement because the VA needed me to do one more appointment after what I thought was my last. Same I’ve seen others start after me and already out or got orders hopefully we are next.

Right on. Yeah I was told the same, they're apparently not supposed to tell until you get your 199 from your PEBLO. You shouldn't be too far from getting it; hang in there bro! My case was submitted to the PEB at the end of AUG, I received my final signature on the 9th, signed my 199 yesterday and it got sent to USAPDA this morning for final signature/orders. I was just hoping it doesn't take too long for the USAPDA portion lol. I have a job lined up beginning early February and don't want to miss out on it.

My PEBLO and MSC are telling me that the Army's PEB which is in TX is as backed up and slow as its ever been right now. They have a huge backlog of cases right now.

I am hearing no more than 1 business week for orders after guys are signing their 199. You're right there.

I'm hearing the same thing from my PEBLO at Fort Liberty. They said it should take 45-60 days, but they are exacerbated as it's taking considerably longer; with the holidays coming up, it will likely be even longer. I did see the on va.gov that the VA closed my claim and issued the IDES benefits estimate letter; only took 3 weeks. Like you all said, the PEBLO/MSC likely won't tell you your ratings, but I got in contact with an advocate at the VFW who I gave access to my records and provided them for me. I've also heard of people using an advocate from DAV to help with things like that.

Your PEBLO said it’s 45-60 for the final signature? I’m curious as I haven’t been able to get any information from mine in a week and half.

45-60 days for the IPEB to provide their findings.

I did the VERA appointment. Meh. The rep sounded extremely excited and seemed like he wanted to help and answer questions but all he told me was that my claim was "RFD and I should be hearing something any day now." He did answer a ton of other questions I had in regard to the VA so that call was definitely helpful and he seemed more pleasant than the people on the other end of the line at the x1000 number.

Hey had to talk to my PEBLO’s supervisor because my PEBLO is on leave but my finding came back and now waiting to do a counseling with another PEBLO. Maybe ask to check again I know you are about a week ahead of me.

Did they reach out to you to tell you that or did you have to call and ask

I called because I’ve been trying to get ahold of my PEBLO for 2 weeks till I called the front desk of the IDES office and told me they are on leave. So they gave me the supervisor’s number to call and was able to get an update on my paperwork.
