hello I'm reaching out to see if anyone has any experience with the v.a. purchasing items to accommodate for disabilities. I recently got off a consult with the v.a. physical therapy and she mentioned I should look into getting a desk that rises and lower like and electric desk or sit to stand station and also a lumbar supported desk chair. I am 100 % disabled and looking to see if anyone has come across this in the past and what their results were to see if the v.a. would cover stuff like that or I need to pay out of pocket for it. I'm OK with paying out of pocket if I have to but just a quick browse shows me that it will easily be 1k plus for the chair and desk which I would than need to wait awhile to save up money for. Also if anyone has experience with supplies that I can be authorized. I asked for a medicine ball and she said that they don't authorize that that I have to go buy one to do my physical therapy workouts. Any advice and supplies that you have received would be much appreciated!
