Recently I retained a SSDI lawyer to help with my claim. The lawyer sent me some documents for my PCM to fill out pertaining to my physical condition and limitations. I passed the documents through my NCM at the WTU and she emailed me that the Dr. or the WTU clinic does not complete this assessment and it should go through the hospital PAD. I promptly visited the PAD just to hear them tell me that they do not do it either and my Primary Dr is the only one that can do this. So back to the Warrior Clinic to see my nurse and she tells me the same thing....he statement was " I asked several Dr's here and they said we can not do it"...my reply was WHO does?. She replies " I do not know".

Questions is has anyone else faced this dilemma and if so who was able to help you? The CoC has been notified and others as well but no course of action as of now.

Upset !!

I'm at Walter Reed. I would think that your PCM at wounded warrior clinic could fill out any form giving your current status and limitations. My doc at the warrior clinic has been pretty accommodating, but I haven't asked for anything like a legal document to be filled out. I wouldn't think it would be against policy.

That is what I was thinking also. I know I'm not the first to request this action. The questions are simple and can be answered just by looking at my P3 profile. I feel the NCM is just not wanting to help me out. She did the same when USAA asked for my PCM signature for my debt protection policy.

My social worker will get involved now I'm sure.

Yeah my NCM is the problem. She is not helping at all.

Wow! Simply amazing!

In my opinion, it's all about military liability concerns for validation of potential SSA SSDI benefits. No one wants to put their "stamp of approval" from a military healthcare perspective. It may be a political reason for avoiding assistance with your SSA SSDI appeal via an attorney.

To that extent, please remain positively proactive and stay the course throughout your interactions to secure the best solution(s) for yourself and your loved ones.

Thus, possessing well-informed knowledge is truly a powerful equalizer.

Best Wishes!
