The name AngryMeg suits you well; you know how to portray frustration in words, lol... All I'll suggest at this point is to remain calm, the difficult part of the whole process is over and you did receive a rating that placed you on the retirement list... This is the last huddle, getting even more upset will create more stress. I don't have a date yet but what I did in the meantime is go to my Seps department and they acknowledged that I will be getting out soon, so they gave me my checkout sheet to begin the process with that. It has been a good distraction so I don't lose my mind. I will suggest you to do the same. You can actually begin making arrangements to have your stuff moved, right now we are on our own, and we just need to take initiative to make sure our process goes smoothly. I keep telling myself this is the last lap, and I'll finish strong vice just finishing at all. You have to remember the people handling our paperwork aren't as motivated to get out as we are, they might even hate their jobs, hence the slow movement. I hope this consoled you a little bit.
Remember keep smiling, even when you have no idea what’s going on... it keeps people from guessing your hand.
