According to the good ol FT Polk VA rep that filed my case it will take about 9 months from the day I get my unfit letter for the VA to give me preliminary ratings, and everyone on this Forum that had a fast turnaround with their ratings are lying. Just thought I’de share the BS I’m getting fed with you guys.

your lying! for believing in that crap.
Fox, Please don't come on this forum and start commenting on our posts, you have no clue what RO folks get their ratings from and the time it takes to get them.

Your digging your own arrogant hole, if you are needing us to answer any of your questions in the future.

Everyone's case is different. Depending on all sorts of varying factors. I think it's very rude of you to be so new this forum and accuse people here of lying. This site is here to help people who have questions and to talk to people going through the process.

I really think he was just sharing what was being told to him by the reps and wasn't actually calling anyone a liar. That is the way I interpreted this though.

help needed, my Ebenefits changed today, it states multiple things: : "Claim Reviewed" and another line "under review" as of today! it gives 2 months to complete. Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks in advance

After rereading what you wrote, I realize it was just a misunderstanding. :) Your VA rep is not very optomistic LOL. I got my ratings way quicker than their estimate! My IDES dashboard says a mere 22 days!

Yea you guys have been flying through the process. I hope mine starts moving soon im at 111 days. Still at gathering evidence with no reason from anyone why its there they tell me they have everything they need.

My ebenefits just changed from 'review of evidence' to 'prep for decision'. The PEB sent my file to the VA on June 3rd. Not sure how long I will have to wait now before I get word from the PEB/VA on %'s.

Does anyone have an idea how long it is taking Seattle to type and send out 199's?

Well, the DA Form 199 is a specific document only to the U.S. Army from my experiences within the DoD IDES MEB/PEB process!

Hmm, have you received your DoVA proposed ratings from the DoVA D-RAS in Seattle,WA at this point in time?

Thus, I quite often comment that "possessing well-informed knowledge is truly a powerful equalizer."

Best Wishes!

I believe that the 199 comes from the PEB (definately not the VA) personally i believe on average we are seeing 2.5 to 4 weeks. i do recognize that others have taken much longer.

The standard is 15 days. As previously noted, the Department of the Army (DA) form is not generated by the VA.

got my retirement orders today, effective 14Nov2014!!!

Indeed, congratulations! Enjoy your forthcoming military disability retirement to include all post-military endeavors! :D

This is my timeline with the Seattle VA:
25 July 2014 - Referral to IDES
28 July 2014 - MSC Appt
08 Aug 2014 - C&P Exam
02 Sep 2014 - Signed Narsum
03 Sep 2014 - Narsum sent to PEB
04 Sep 2014 - Found unfit by PEB

Just trying to get some current feedback back on how fast Seattle VA ratings have been coming back, and if anyone out there has a similar timeline as mine. The waiting is frustraiting, especially since i have only 7 conditions to be rated.

you JUST started in July, it takes time. You want it to come back accurate, not rushed and incorrect. If they rush it, you would probably have to do an appeal which would take even longer... just look at it that way...

My husbands timeline is below. We went through it fast and had 24 conditions claimed (3 of them were unfit). I don't think there is anyway to estimate your timeline. There doesn't seem to be a pattern and the number of conditions doesn't seem to play a role either.
