I got the same treatment from them... I think it damn near killed them to check. I just wanna know where my packet is sitting, my PEBLO and some other person I called (I have no idea who they were) both told me my 199 was sent up in March but for some reason the PDA can't see it??

Called PDA Friday and they have received it but it hasn't been assigned to anyone yet.

well I'm going to call them again and see what they say..

so for the first time in 2 months and I actually got someone who wasn't a complete a**hole at PDA they told me that my case is in their system it just hasn't been assigned a analyst yet.. 2 months and still no analyst oh well... more waiting I guess. So if anyone is still waiting for their DA 199 to be officially signed I would just call PDA and ask if your case is in their system that way at least you know that its up there and your PEBLO isn't telling you BS

This process needs to more transparent to the soldiers... My PEBLO didn't reply to an email or return a phone call for 3 weeks, my AKO portal hasn't updated in 10 weeks. They wonder why we are losing our minds and calling every number we can find on the internet... I was able to get someone in my chain of command to contact someone higher up to take a look at my case.... This is the first time I think anyone legitimately looked into it to make sure everything was where it should be.... apparently my packet is fine, just caught up in a huge backlog with everyone else. Maybe they need to find some PEBLOs that actually do there jobs, return calls and emails, and tell you something other than "just be patient".

There were 6 of us from my state (National Guard) that were submitted to the PDA within a month of one another. Two were submitted before mine and were completed in 13 days and 16 days, three were submitted after mine and were completed in 6, 7, and 15 days. I am on day 31 and wondering if my case was somehow dropped the way it was for the PEB Findings where I had to 107 days to get my 199. Like most others my PEBLO will not return calls or answer emails, I contacted a state Ombudsman and he sent me the following which was supposedly the answer from the PDA:

Forwarding a message from United States Army Physical Disability Agency

Ladies and Gentlemen,

The United States Army Physical Disability Agency, Retirements and Separations (R&S) Branch is conducting an IDES case reconciliation as a result of our ECMS/ePEB migration and case transfer from our legacy application. We anticipate completion of this reconciliation on or about 5 May 2017. We fully understand the inconvenience and delays associated with our actions however, we will continue processing all disability cases as quickly as possible. The R&S leadership team will continue to field all expedited case processing requests that result from special circumstances, etc. We thank you for your continued support of our Nations' wounded, ill and injured Soldiers!

Okay.... so the PDA is backed up from a system migration that was completed around 5 May, that does not answer how 5 others had their packets submitted within a month of mine (some before and some after mine) that have been completed and mine is still in limbo.....

Guess it is wait, wait and oh..... wait

so this is what happened because i got really freaking tired of waiting apparently how PDA does their processing on cases is totally jacked up I have been waiting over 2 months for my orders and I haven't received anything.. yet a soldier who signed their DA 199 go their orders within a week of signing it. Of course the IDES supervisor told me that they don't know how they process the cases over there so I have done every single thing possible informal way to expedite your case, formal way to expedite your case (yes, there are 2 ways to expedite your case), calling PDA, calling ombudsman, calling PEBLO, calling PEBLO's supervisor, I have done everything but report this crap, cause it looks like PDA has a total unorganized way of dealing with the cases.

I got an email from my PEBLO today saying that my case has finally been assigned to an analyst at the PDA.... It took 75 days from the time i signed my DA199 for it to move from the PEB to the PDA..... I hope things move faster than this for the rest of you. I'm giving credit to the ombudsman I contacted late last week.... 3 days after i talked to him my claim started moving.

I signed my 199 June 01st. I am still waiting on my orders. It is frustrating not knowing when i will get my orders. I need to start looking for apartments but i can't. How can i contact PDA.

Day 49 waiting for Orders, Analyst at PDA has had my case for 3 weeks now.......The National Capital Region PEB/PDA have got to be some of the most incompetent employees in the Federal System.

Y'all need to fight the system. I did and went from no 199, to orders in 4 days.

What did you do you "fight the system"? I contacted my installation's ombudsman to expedite my case due to my job start date being a few weeks away. To get orders in a day of signing your da199 is amazing.
