Received my unfit memo today (31 July)

Not sure if you know but you can take that to the Orderly Room and have them do your memo for “Early CIF Turn-In.” You can also take a copy to the S1 and have them forward it to G1 so G1 can get your replacement inbound. They (G1) pulled my replacement from the CAB the next day and he was inprocessing 2 weeks later.

I was tracking the CIF part (my 1SG is a little salty that I submitted a memo to turn it in)

My stuff has been at VA since 1 July for ratings. They accepted 29 claims. Not sure but my PEBLO thinks I should be done sometime this month. I’m thinking more in September-ish myself.

Part of me wants to get it done and over with, but part of me wants to procrastinate it until Jan-Feb. I hit 20 in Sept, I have 60 days of leave, plus the 20 for PTDY

Haha...I know what you mean. I’m going to sell 60 days o cue that time comes. If I’m done before 1 October than I’ll take 25 days of leave and 20 PTDY. If it looks like I’m going beyond October than I’ll just take September off so I don’t lose my leave. At the end of September I’ll have 85 days saved up.
 
Another update. I don't know how this happened so fast, but I received my ratings today (06 Aug 19) 70% DOD and 100% VA. I am going to Sign my 199 on the 16th.

Great news! If my timeline follows suit, I will be out by end of September lol
