New to board. So I have a question 2017-2109 I had both hips replaced osteoarthritis. I filed for compensation in 2017 and was denied, because of my lack of understanding in the process. To which last week I just had my C & P exam for both hips from Ves Services. The Doctor was just going through the motions and asked me why I was back again. In the 3 years I found that I was service connected in my left ankle for 10% avulsion fracture ect. I presented a letter from my doctor stating that it was least likely then not that the condition occurred due to the left ankle injury which now has altered gait. The doctor read it and said that this is going to help. After discussing the history ect. She never measured or did any testing? How can someone get rated based on that type of evaluation? Just seemed to be turnstile to me. Now I am just waiting for the rating. Not sure what else to do? I explained I have pain in the place when the bone and prosthesis connect and a popping propably form a tendon when I walk. But she took no measurements, nor did she seem concerned so I dont know how she can get a rating from that?
