Just trying to get out as much info as possible.

Got referred to IDES at the end of August 2022
Knocked out the briefs and initial claim 08Sep22
Completed all VA med Appts 03Oct22
PEB Accepted package 02Nov22
Found Unfit and MedBoard requested VA Proposed Rating 06Dec22

Latest Information i have received from my MSC (VA Rep) is
"Based on other cases, it is taking the DRAS (VA rating board) between 8-10 weeks to complete the number of requests they have pending. They are actively working to complete case that were requested from DoD on or about 10/15/2022."

So anyones cases who have had proposed ratings requested around 15Oct22, will hopefully hear something soon. I will keep updated as my process continues.

Have you reached out to the PEBLO? Im located aboard Camp Pendleton and reached out to the PEBLO Supervisor today along with my MSC and got responses today about the status.
 
I was found unfit on Nov17, have been assigned a rater and am pending my rating per my VSO. However, my PEBLO stated that my case is still at PEB

Yes I did! I was already VA rated for the referred conditon, so I think that’s why it moved so quickly. I don’t plan on appealing, so it would be nice to get my DA 199 this month!
 
Got my DA 199 back today! concurred with findings, and now I wait for my final orders.

Timeline: (Case was processed at Ft. Gordon, GA)
Referred to IDES : 9/28/2022
Completed exams : 10/20/2022 and 10/25/2022
MEB findings/counseling : 11/3/2022 (I concurred and returned paperwork back same day)
Found unfit : 11/10/2022
VA proposed rating received : 12/14/2022
DA 199/PEB counseling completed with Peblo today 12/22/2022

*I was already VA rated for the referred condition, so I declined to file for VA rating, the rating they gave was "for PEB purpose only"

Wait, were you VA rated on active duty or reserve? i'm trying to go through the process now with the Army Reserve and I'm already VA rated at 100% so I don't care about VA rating. I'm trying to speed this thing up. I'm trying to do LDES instead of IDES

I am in the guard. I elected not to file a VA claim while going through the IDES process as I did not want to risk them changing my overall rating. The VA only recommended a rating for PEB purposes only.

Oh okay..I thought if you elected not to do IDES then you'll have to do LDES. It seems like you're saying you can still go through IDES, is that correct?

Unfit Finding -12/5/22
Contacted PEBLO today 2/6/23 - She told me to expect another 1-2 months. Unacceptable.

Wrote letters to both my Congressman at the House and Senate level today.
