Nov Case Timeline

Unfit Finding -12/5/22
Contacted PEBLO today 2/6/23 - She told me to expect another 1-2 months. Unacceptable.

Wrote letters to both my Congressman at the House and Senate level today.
Nov last year this process was not taking this long; but for whatever reason they switched the system up and now every thing is moving at molasses pace

my case went PEB accepted in MOL at the end of August 2022. I got my findings a few weeks ago. It takes a while at the VA.

That is correct. I still went through IDES.
Quick Question: Do you see any benefit of going through the MEB process now you're done? I'm still thinking, since we don't get 2 different checks I don't know if it's really beneficial

At 86 days awaiting ratings...........
I would say your any day now. Mine was with the rating officer 90 days or so. Check the VA website and when your case pops up as closed you should hear from your peblo within a few weeks after.

Guys, how long did it take your PEBLO to reach out after your case closed on the VA Website. My case closed 02/21.
I sent an email to the lawyer and she said the PEB was finishing and once they're done the PEBLO will be notified. She was also able to give me my VA Rating %.

I feel like this process is one long wait after another....
Wondering how long I should be expecting...

Mine was about two weeks after the claim closed on the website.

Yes under the claims section. it will be blank while the case is in review but once it is done it will show up as closed and then mailed to your peblo. you can also use the VA app on your phone.

Yeah, everything Smith said and one more thing to add, they also have a mobile app. I used to check that every day. Once it's done your case will populate and show as closed with the date.

Good to know yours only took 2 weeks Smith. I'm hoping for about the same.

I hope the same for you.

One other note, don't be afraid to call manpower once you get back your date if you need to. In my case they populated my EAS as a little over 60 days out but I had 70 days of leave saved. My TERA request asked for June and it populated for April. First we called and they agreed to bump it out a month so I can take my leave. After that we realized the retirement type was incorrect and called again. found out my TERA request had not been processed and that date should never have populated so they removed it all together. My requested date actually was approved monday and I go on terminal/ptad on March 27th and officially retire june 30th.

The Universe must've heard me yelling into the void today.
FINALLY everything is back, going in tomorrow morning for sign my findings.
90% DOD
100% VA

10 days, normal is 1-2 weeks

Boys and Girls i have hit the next milestone. As of 07Mar23 my claim is showing as closed on VA.Gov. Next batch of waiting engaged.........

I went to the IDES and spoke with my MSC who was able to provide me the full report with rating breakdown per condition. So i got 90% VA and for my referred condition I got 50% so thatll be my DOD Rating. So Med Retirement it is.

Just signed my findings today. This part seems to be moving a lot faster than all the other steps
What base are you on, and how many claims did you have? I think I remember we have the same timeline and I'm still waiting for my VA claims.
