I was found unfit on 28FEB, kinda of wondering the same thing. When I called the VA they did tell me that my case is with the rating officer that has been assigned to. im hoping to hear something in the next couple of months

VA is reporting 90-120 days for ratings and then probably another month and a half to two months before you get out completely. That’s if everything works out and you’re happy with your findings.
I'm currently at 95 days with VA and know nothing other than unfit. i'm starting to lose steam.
Va is taking between 60-100 days to finish claims up rn, afte rthat about three weeks until you get discharge orders then out depending on what your days are actually. i would expect another 3-4 months of nothing from the va
I also know of some cases coming back right at 2 months so its a crap shoot just find out all the informtion you can and be ready to get out when you can
The Va has had my package before I was found unfit and it’s be in preparation for decision since September 2022. I talked to VERA she said it has had no movement since September and she was going to send an email for me. And I was told to call back next Friday :/
Thats weird since they don't work on your case until found unfit by peb.
I'm in the same boat. with VA since 07DEC22, found unfit 07JAN23. When i talked to VERA the guy told me "you wont know your VA rating until you submit your DD-214". Additionally, he gave me a phone number to call and follow up with that nobody answers so i'm pretty upset about that. I hope you hear something soon. This process is infuriating.
Yea I am confused also about that. The Va representative said they received a whole bunch of service treatment records the same day it was sent to the PEB Navy yard.
You will know your rating when it is finalized btu will not receive payments in regard to your rating until the day of your dd-214.
also your days with the va doesnt start until found unfit by peb and they receive your package from the peb.
Then why would the MSC say "The VA rating team has been working on your claim since 07DEC22" ?
Its an 8 step process, they have been working on your claims up to step 6-8, they cannot do those steps until findings from peb have been submitted to them.

8-Notification letter
each step takes 7-21 business days
its a terrible process
So this flow chart they published last month is wrong? I'm not trying to be facetious. At this point i literally just feel like i know nothing anymore. So thank you for your insight.
That is the ides process nut there is 8 steps within the va claim process itself.
This was the case with me as well. The VA had me in the decision phase months before I was found unfit. I believe it was just them acknowledging that they had some info but they reassured me that it wouldn’t move to a rater until after the PEB finished.
I’m a few days behind you. I’m hoping for something in the weeks to come but I also had a lot of claims so idk.
