VA Final Award Letter

Hello everyone!

I medically retired July 17th 2023 and am still waiting for my finalized VA rating. I need this letter in order to close on a house. I have been checking the VA app and ebenefits quite a bit and as of Friday August 11th I am able to see the claim. It is currently showing its in the decision stage. My MSC said it would be about 30 days after separating to have that letter finalized. Anyone out there with a similar situation that knows a realistic timeframe of getting this letter? I need to close on or before August 31st and am not feeling too confident everything will be finalized. Thank you for the input.

It took about 6 weeks for my wife to get everything finalized.
 
Any luck? I’m still waiting; last day on active duty was 1 Aug 2023. I got out from Europe; Seattle Regional Office I believe handles IDES claims.

I wasn’t allowed to leave active duty until my IDES process was complete.
