I am currently working on my CRSC application. For conditions that are presumptive, Appendix A of the 2680 states, "For consideration, the initial VA Rating Decision for the claimed disability must show not just Service connection, but the specific cause of the condition, such as member has developed fibromyalgia from service in the Persian Gulf War. Documentation should also describe the place, period, and conditions of exposure"
None of my VA Documents associate any of my conditions, including presumptive ones, to my time in combat zones. I am lucky cause I have memos from our base about burn pits with dates and my name, awards that specifically identify my role in combat action, CAB, and medical records from theater showing injuries from combat for things. But for items that I was diagnosed with later while in service and are presumptive, such as sinusitis, gastro, fibromyalgia....my VA documents don't say they are from service in the Gulf War.
I notice the document hasn't been updated since July 2011, and I know many presumptive conditions have been identified since then, so perhaps this is not a requirement any longer.
Should I be concerned my VA documents don't reference any combat for presumptive conditions?
