FPEB knee, fit for duty chances

Hello all I’m new here so hopefully I’m doing this right. I’ve been going through the meb, as you do, and have been given my ratings from the peb. 20% Army 90% VA. I am not ready to go however, my mos is 11B and am getting ready to do an ACFT, weapons qual, and will have a plethora of memos stating I can do my job from officers and NCOs alike. How are my chances to be fit for duty come August?

Since you are an 11B, the physical standards are high, but if you are still able to perform the mission and have the support of the chain of command, you can request a re-evaluation or rebuttal to stay. Some soldiers even switch to another MOS that is more appropriate for their medical condition, if they really want to continue serving.
