Fort Lewis PEB

Feel free to contact me via private message if you need the help down the road with legal services.

I understand not going to the doctor or getting your conditions documented. It's really common (especially with SF/infantry/pilots).

Glad the site has helped! That's why I put it up, to help people.

FYI. Per my PEBLO the PEB tracking system has been down for the last week+. He stated that it is an Army-wide problem. Without the system, he isn't sure that packets can be processed / worked.

Anyone else hear anything about the problem?

I heard the same thing form the lady at APDA...however, according to transitions...there are still soldiers showing up on TRANSPROC as of today...

Do you know system is up and running or still down?

Just got off the phone with my MSC. Narsum was sent to PEB on July 17, PEB found me unfit August 7th. She says that the VA has still not received my case from the PEB. Cause for alarm? PEBLO doesn't think so but something tells me there's an issue here...

Give a power of attorney to a veteran's service orgainization (DAV, VFW, AL, or state VSO..) they can pull up the informal notes on your case. They are volunteers that have eyes into the VA's system. They can tell you a lot more than the MSC or PEBLO can tell you.

The army's computer tracking outage could also be part of the problem, but it shouldn't delay the VA's work.

OK, I'm giving those services a call but this is proving to be a little difficult. The people answering their phones definitely aren't used to questions like this, haha.

This just doesn't make sense to me. I only have 1 condition on my med board. If I was found unfit on August 7th, surely the VA would be done rating me by now. For them to have not even received my case yet??? That can't be right.

Don't expect them to know about the IDES process, but they can give you a set of eyes that can see into the VA part of the process.

I called my Peblo today and told me the system is still down. So I guess i can expect another month before I see my 199 and since the holidays are coming up, it might take awhile. Not complaining actually hopeing it does go till Jan so i can prepare for my transition, anyone else in the same boat at FT LEWIS. I got in the mail the other day my proposed ratings from VA but not the PEB.

Okay, someones PEBLO is either lying, giving them the runaround, or the system really is down. It was said on another thread that the system was back online. We need ACTUAL CONFIRMATION from someone on the inside, PEBLO's are not reliable due to the fact people bother them all day for information. Someone with actual knowledge and not hearsay please update on the situation.

System is up and running.

I guess it is still confusing as to what this system is actually for. My case manager just called me to give me an update, and said as of this morning, the system at Fort Irwin is still down. She was under the impression the system is only for sending packets to the PEB. Others have said it is to see the information at the PEB, and others have said nothing at all can be done while the system is down. I am wondering what the deal is, I am just sitting here waiting for an answer on my unfit ruling. Packet was sent 31 Aug, and was told it was received. So, anyone got an idea of what this system actually does? I can't help but laugh at the inconsistencies of stories by PEBLO's and Case Managers.
