Pretty easy process, I’d say the worst part was waiting for anything with the VA. It’s well worth downloading and using the VA app to track the claims process. Otherwise everything was timely. My discharge date is May 7th (2 months from when they received my DA199 response)

03/02/2023 - Signed 199 and waiting for next steps after concurring with Medical Discharge

01/28/23 - VA posted claim in system for rating 02/10/23 - VA completed claim (Right shoulder 20%) 02/24/23 - received DA Form 199 recommending Medical Discharge(severance pay)

I did not, I went through QTC who did a pretty good job. Only issue is one practitioner took a while to complete my Gen Med DBQ/exam after being seen
