I am on day 30 of waiting on PEB findings(DA 199). I hope I get it next week. They are averaging 30-40 days.

How did you get unfit memo? I heard they stopped doing unfit memo.My PEBLO said you get unfit decision and DOD/VA on DA 199 after the IPEB is done. My PEBLO wont tell.

PEB findings takes 30-40 days. I am on day 27 of waiting on DA 199. My Peblo says she is not authorized to tell unless she receives 199 from PEB.

I am in the same boat too. Did they give you unfit decision because your informal PEB is done? So you are just waiting on PEB findings DA 199. From what I have heard, Army is averaging 30-40 days for DA 199.So you should have your results in a week or two.

I am in the same boat too , waiting for PEB results. Its been 10 days now. From what I have heard from others, the turnaround time for PEB result is 3 weeks to 2 months.

From what I've heard ,the turnaround time now is pretty fast within a month. Previously ,you had to wait 2 months.

Was asthma your referred condition that you got medboarded for? And PEB decides fitness only on referred condition ,if I am not wrong?

How severe is your asthma? I have one referred condition too, asthma and it's pretty severe. I am taking inhaled and oral steroids, and biweekly injection. Will PEB find me fit given the meds I am taking and on non-deployable status?

My story so far.I am in the army. I am getting medboarded for asthma ,taking xolair shots and steroids and bunch of other meds. I don't know if they are going to retain me or kick me out. Asthma is no joke and most likely they are going to kick me out based on the medications I am on.

Hey I am going through medboard process for asthma.So how much weight does commander statement have on you being unfit? Does commander sit down with you to review and does he/she ask you whether you want to get stay in or do not retain?
