Glad to hear you are in remission. It is hard to tell exactly what is going on. That is, it is not clear why you would need an MEB if you are in remission. I am guessing that it may have to do with your profile and ability to perform your duties. Are you able to work/perform MOS duties?
If your MEB is initiated, then you cannot put in for retirement. I would talk with your PCM about this and your S1 shop to see their take. COAD is a possibility, but will depend on a number of factors including your health status, your support from your chain, and your ability to perform MOS/Soldier duties. I don't know how these factors may play out in your case. But COAD is something to consider if you don't get a fit finding.
