    PA and Temp Profile issue

I'm thankful I have a good supportive command. But my supervisor was a bit confused when he received the con leave support paper work stating I needed 3 months, and on bed rest for half of that. Then receive this profile saying I can ride in a military vehicle and wear uniform.

    PA and Temp Profile issue

So he shouldn't even be issuing the profile. But how do I get an off post civilian ortho to do a profile. I guess physical therapy will have to issue it. Even if profile is for same condition was over 12 months, this profile shouldn't be related. It's recover from surgery. Different reason IMO...

    PA and Temp Profile issue

My civilian PA has never written me a full 3 month profile, in the last 2 years, I've been on profile for 80 days total. Even though I've been going through rehab and pain management for 12+ months. You'd think he would have written me 3 month profiles taking the PM doc's advice? But he always...

    Help? Long post!

Negative, physical training and rehab is an individual responsibility. Commander's support rehab, but in no way are they responsible for it.

Can you be chaptered out during the IDES process for ht/wt or APFT failure

I had JAG officers have me "backdate" multiple HT/WT forms. Or at least try. Then I had a new JAG officer play the "magic statement" standards game. Remember even the BCT JAG officer is out of the BCT CDR rating chain, and it's all up for interpretation. Depending on the type you get, there...

Can you be chaptered out during the IDES process for ht/wt or APFT failure

to expand on my reply above, since the approval for PT/HT/WT has been re-delegated to BN CDR, this is a tool I've seen used to expedite "SBags". Right or wrong, it happens. PT is easier than HT/WT.

    No LODs, am I SOL?

As an officer, I'm a product of the "push through it" mentality that lingered around from the 1990s- early 2000s when I entered, but is now lightened up (although looks like its coming back). I never had LODs completed on any of my injuries. But I did have PA/DOCS document either through...

Watch the Gabepentin, it turned me into a zombie and raised my "cravings". Gained a lot of weight on it.

Diagnosed with PTSD but now also ADHD

I feel like BH is trying to focus on the ADHD as primary to the PTSD now. They told me to stop my PTSD medicine, and gave me ADHD meds instead. I've been seeing BH for 7 months now, and not really addressed my PTSD, primarily because I have issues talking about it - but it's not like they are...

    Migraines & Occipital Nerve Blocks

I've had the occipital block. It worked. What also works, and is not a controlled substance is Fiorcet. Ask your PA for it. May make you a bit jittery though as it has caffeine in it. But it works by expanding blood vessels.

Can you be chaptered out during the IDES process for ht/wt or APFT failure

Yes, I will tell you that while in command, fellow commanders were doing this as an easy out. :-/
