Thank you! Va.gov doesn't show a claim anymore, but I sent an email to the MSC.

UNFIT findings + New meds that may affect DoD%

This morning I received word that I was unfit. Also this morning I was prescribed daily dose of prednisone (which for asthma may mean 100%). Do I need to contact the VA myself ensure records are up-to-date? Or will they automatically receive newest medical records from the hospital?

IDES C&P exams not accurately reflecting current conditions.

I submitted all discrepancies to my lawyer (including incorrect meds listed). The VA rep had me fill out form 4138 with a description of all discrepancies. Within a week I was contacted by QTC to re-do all VA exams. I hope this helps

IDES C&P exams not accurately reflecting current conditions.

I just delt with this a few months ago. I told my Lawyer all the discrepancies and he worked with a VA rep to submit petition to re-do C&P exams. Just write up a compelling reason, list of reasons and the Lawyer and VA rep should help....I did this before signing and accepting the paperwork...

I know the Navy leans towards fit, but my updated VA exams are marked YES for "does condition impact ability to work?" and says I leave work early daily due to exacerbations. I have been fighting to stay in, but my assumption is that I will not be retained due to this wording.....any thoughts...

Good morning, Small update. I am not trying to get out as fast as many of ya'll, so for those of you who are trying to slow down the process.... I was successful requesting new VA exams be conducted after many were incomplete or downright incorrect. I have also requested a new NARSUM as it...

    NAVY w/19yos MEB for asthma

I have been doing some reading in the SECNAV M1850.1 ... I may be able to apply for Permanent Limited Duty (PLD) if I am found unfit as well...that can buy an additional 12 months

    NAVY w/19yos MEB for asthma

Unfortunately I have tried many other medications, but this is the one that is finally helping me. If I get off of Dupixent, it would be very difficult to be approved to restart it. Also, it is very expensive and not one easily afforded out of pocket.

    NAVY w/19yos MEB for asthma

I would not have thought of asking for female only doctors, thank you. After my brief chat with the PEBLO, it didn't seem that she knew the instructions very well, or that she is just used to people asking to get out. I am very worried that I may not make it to 20.

    NAVY w/19yos MEB for asthma

Additional info, I did 6 months of limdu and was cleared. I am told the reason for MEDBOARD is due to the dupixent not allowing for sea duty.

    NAVY w/19yos MEB for asthma

I was diagnosed with severe persistent asthma due to a newly developed unavoidable allergy, and referred to a MEB/PEB (developed during deployment). I just reached 19yos this month and I want to stay in. I am on dupixent along with daily steroids. Meds are stopping severe reactions, but I still...
