Good information here, thank you. My LOD is sitting with AFRC and has been since April. Does anyone know how long it would take to get through the MEB portion if it comes back unfit? Three months at AFRC seems like a long time for just the LOD really.

I wasn't sure I wanted to retire at the time. There are a couple benefits to disability retirement, TriCare immediately, and if determined combat related, some or all could be tax-free. Wouldn't I get all of these benefits under medical retirement?

Z85, I am also a reservist who is going through a MEB recommended by my PCM. I am also 100% P/T by the VA. My PCM told me that only the condition that prevents you from serving is what they look at. So yes, only one. Good luck
