Just an FYI. If you are 100% P&T through the VA, you can submit an application to discharge your student loans. The amount will be used as taxable income for this year so do some research before applying. I applied in May and just received word that my loans were discharged by the Department...

Does anyone have a timeline for CRSC? I know the website says 180 days, just looking for personal experience. I applied in March and haven't heard a peep.

Update in signature- officially retired 11 March, VA claim closed 3 April, 100% P&T.

I got a call from Retirement Services and was told to report to her office within 72 hours.

My name hit TRANSPROC yesterday, and I met with my RSO today to turn in the required documents. She stated my orders should be done by COB tomorrow but since it's a training holiday I can pick them up first thing Tuesday morning and start clearing. My official retirement date is 10 March!

Agree, knees are usually 10% each for osteoarthritis. That's what my rating just came back with.

She said to expect to get them in about a week, that's the trend the last few weeks here. The VA MSC agreed with that estimate.

Update: PEBLO called this afternoon, I'm going in to sign my 199 tomorrow!! She didn't tell me my overall VA %, but my DOD is 50% PDRL. I'm so happy!!!

I'm at Ft. Lee. I'm not sure if it's via email or what, but I'd assume so. It sucks that all the posts aren't on the same page.

That is so weird. I talked to our PAD Chief this morning (Ft. Lee) and he said while the system is indeed still down, they have been able to send and receive cases to/from the PEB. I'm not sure what the holdup is at other posts.

Based on the trends I've seen on here, Army and Air Force tend to get results back faster than Navy and Marine Corps. My claim went historical on 12/28, I'm hoping to hear something soon (Army).

Well, lot of activity on E-Benefits today. This morning my claim went to pending decision approval and then tonight a claim went historical (finally!!). I'll be requesting my proposed ratings in 10 days if I don't hear anything before then. I finally see the light at the end of the tunnel.

I don't have a second claim either but I verified I was found unfit. You can message the VA and ask them if they received anything from the PEB. The PEB only requests VA ratings if you're unfit.
