I signed my findings on December 17th. You may have to redo your capstone because it has to be done within 90 days getting out. But that should be as easy as having whoever did it with you to just update it in their system.

I messed up. I meant January 7th 2022. So today. I’ll get my paperwork signed Monday and then do my Capstone next week as well. I should be checking out of my command the following week and then I’m out.

Fun Update: I reached out to the Base LIMDU Office and they told me to wait another two weeks before calling them again about a separation date. Why is this entire process so difficult.

From what I understand, after you sign the PEB findings, you should receive the NLD within 2-3 weeks. From there you fill out paperwork where you determine how much terminal and PTDY you’ll take and how much leave you’ll sell. Orders should some in quickly after that.

I’m at the same step. I signed my results on Dec 17th. So I’ve been patient (stressed but quietly) through the holidays. I’m calling my admin people, LIMDU coordinator and PEBLO tomorrow morning to figure out where it’s at because I need to be out of my command for the sake of my mental health.

Call your PEBLO. Mine told me if I haven’t heard anything within 2-3 weeks to call her because it means something is messed up. They will still be able to see where it is.

From experience, the VA ratings mean nothing as far as results go. I found out my VA rating in early August and didn’t get results until December 16th. It took them over 6 months to process my case in the PEB. Since they are still processing the summer cases, expect at least a couple more...

How long did it take for you to get orders?

We’ll friends, the day has finally arrived. I was found unfit 70 DOD and 90 VA. It took 198 days in the PEB, and it’s been a long and trying time, but I feel so relieved right now.

From what I’ve heard, the only successful requests to expedite have been for people who are actually dying or if you have direct access to a general or admiral who will be writing the memo for you. Otherwise, it’s not happening.
