Would it be possible to have the mental health rated at 50% considered As unfitting on a formal board trying to see my options as i am really at lost on what to do.
Thank you very much that would come in to play as to what my decision would be also guys i would be relocating to the philippines as my family is there my wife and kids so contemplating if the severance would be better than getting to 30% medical retirement
Also they where telling me that because i will be 0% unfitting the severence check i will be getting will not be recoup or paid off using the money i get from the 90% va disability monthly check. Also the peblo told me if i sign this i will be out on nov 30, 2017 and i will be hitting my 13 yr...
that is what my ides atty told me i should do if i go forward with the formal board still reserching if it is viable to appeal this and have the diabetes type 2 and diabetic neuropathy added as unfitting conditions.
Thanks for the reply i just got done talking with the ides atty and he gave me the scenarios if i go for the formal board on this and its not looking good. The mental health was not one of.the unfitting conditions that was presented to the IPEB so it was not considered in the first please. The...

Thank you but would you know if the diabetic neuropathy which is secondary to my diabetes can increase my ratings of 20% or help me achieved the 30% retirement treshold. ?
I just talked with my MSC and he was able to tell me the VA proposed ratings for me is 90% overall but I need to add tinnitus into my claim and also my one of my referred conditions which is foot arthritis got me a 0% (and this was the main reason I got MEB in the first place)20% for diabetes...

this is really frustrating then because everything else you have somewhere you can check the status of anything in the military except the MEB/PEB Process. they make you hurry up and wait.
I just checked E-Benefits and it went from open claims to pending decision approvals how long do guys think will it take for it to be received back to the PEB.
the only thing the bothers me is that when I ask my PEBLO she told me that my package is with the presiding officer but when I called the PEB over at Washington DC, a chief told me they already forwarded my package to the VA for ratings don't the PEBLO should be getting the same info as the guys...
86 days now that's well beyond the goals of the IPEB. hopefully mine do not take as long but thank you wish mine would not take that long but being in the navy for 12 years should expect the worst and hope for the best. thanks
I just called PEB today and told me they submitted my package to the VA and called the VA after and was told they received my package on 23 July 2017. My question is how long do it take for the VA to do the ratings and comes back to the PEB and also with my package being sent to the VA does that...
