I am a National Guardsman currently on title 10 with 38.5 years of service. Recently was referred to the MEB/PEB (IDES) as of 6/8/2022. During conversation with my PEBLO last week, she mentioned my new RPAM statement (retirement points) that should be generated and uploaded to my iPERMS this November. My target date for IDES completion is 3/30/2023. The new RPAM statement will indicate I am eligible for immediate retirement. Again, this is based on the 90-day early retirement increments that I have accrued. My question is how this impacts me as I venture through the IDES process. Does this shorten the process any? are my benefit options reduced? Thanks in advance!
