Just a warning if you are a reservist attempting to get MEDCON orders after an injury sustained from accident while in duty status. (example a car accident not caused by you)
The process is extreme - and broken. Regardless of what you provide - it will never be complete enough and if you have to deal with long wait times to obtain your profile from the PCM and it's time consuming for you to get your Treating physician to sign treatment plans be prepared for many delays in processing times. Top that with the SG office delaying submission of your MEDCON pkg for greater than 30 days - you will end up having to re-accomplish treatment plans (they only accept plans that are less than 30 days old). The SG office also gives you WRONG versions of forms and eventually your package gets kicked back for something like that...so they run you around in circles, make you jump thru hoops and most likely will deny your MEDCON request. There is so much more to this story, but all i can say is don't waste your time - because they really don't care.
