Current status:
~ Sept 2017: ER visit @ Elgin for “Thunderclap” headache. CT/CT Angio neg but poss enlargement in sella
~ Sept 2017: MRI confirms Pituitary neoplasm 1.5cm, blood work ordered and to be followed up @ Scott (homestation)
Oct 2017 - Mar 2019: PCM didn’t see any reason for anything but monitor
Mar 2019: 2d MRI, 50% increase, SLU neurosurgeon saw no symptoms indicating immediate need to remove, recommended continue monitoring as risk of surgical procedure would outweigh potential reward
~ June 2019: Requested 422 for reclass to 1B4X1 to line me with my DAFSC
16 July 2019: Gained into 1B491 E8 position (been AGR since Dec 2011)
17 July 2019: Notified by PEBLO of IRILO
5 Aug 2019: New PCM, appointment to get her current with how we got here. I set up this appointment and she had seen/heard nothing at that point
15 Aug 2019: Sq CC impacted signed/submitted to PEBLO
19 Aug 2019: Code 37 AF469 signed by Sq CC

AAAND... hurry up and wait.

So, from these forums I am guessing that my AFRC status may slow this process. Current status: 14 good years AFRC as of 20 July 2019. 12 years TAFMS coming ~27 Sep 2019. AGR since 2 Dec 2011. Goal, 20.25 yrs TAFMS which would give me 21 due to 1405 points.

Anything I should be expecting/doing while I wait for the IRILO recommendation, and how/when will I know what that recommendation is? I’ve gotten 1 email from the PEBLO (initial IRILO) and was Cc’d when she requested the CC impact. Nothing else.

Sq CC impact statement reflected RTD.

Update: 11 Sept 2019, seen at urgent care (referred) for back/hip/leg pain. Pos sciatica related/unrelated to lower back muscle spasm.

Scheduled to see MTF 19 Sep 2019 for follow-up. Hoping the appt is with assigned PCM so I can inquire if she’s heard anything yet. Still nothing from PEBLO. Intending to try contact w/ PEBLO 20 Sept if nothing tomorrow as it will be a month since Code 37.

Update:
18 Sept 2019: Sent email to PEBLO requesting status
19 Sept 2019: Got update from PEBLO saying that DAWG recommended return to duty (no date as to when decision was made), but current status is that it is at HQ AFRC pending review
19 Sept 2019: Follow up with PCM for new sciatic issue. And follow on discussion confirmed that even if final decision comes back RTD I will still require periodic review

Now just waiting for AFRC to come back with their decision, hopefully aligned with CC, PCM, and DAWG recommendations.

30 Sept: Chiropractor appt for back issue. Chiro doesn’t find sciatica but believes I have lower disk issue. Set up for follow ups. Also scheduled follow up with neuro for new symptoms poss related to pituitary tumor for tomorrow. Still no update for HQ AFRC decision/recommendation.

Update: 3 Oct: Rcv’d notification that AFRC/SGP determined RTD w/ ALC C3. Annual review in Sept 2020.
