Air Force IPEB anyone getting results lately?

Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone was hearing results back recently with the holidays and all. Mine was sent in October and still no word. My PEBLO said she was getting some back that was sent at the beginning of September. Anyone out there get results in Jan? Anyone else get their package sent out in October? Am I all alone on this one? I am really starting to get depressed about not hearing anything. I can't plan for school or work or anything right now :(

My PEBLO is sticking to the "middle of February" line. Supposedly, mine is awaiting adjudication so I'm still hoping for results in the next 2 weeks or so.

Mine was sent September 22nd and I got my results on Tuesday of this week. 5 weeks late. I after the 90 day mark went by, I called my PEBLO every week until she told me my results were in.

afmichael, what were your results? Thanks for the update. Hopefully mine will only be a couple weeks late and not 5! Well one can dream can't they? haha

I received my results back last week. I am in the pilot program and my package was sent in the beginning of Oct but there were no mistakes so it did not need to come back. AFPC turned the package around quickly- the time was spent at the VA for the ratings. Over all my MEB started in June- so seven months...

Isn't there something in the AFI that states the PEBLO has to do somekind of follow-up after 90 days? I'm getting the vibe that my PEBLO is pretty much telling me there's nothing he can do to check on the status of it.
Bah.... Easter Bunny, can you give me my TDRL?

Recommened discharge. I elected to appeal so I should be in San Antonio sometime this month (hopefully!!).

Good luck. Hubby's MEB was received by AFPC on Sept 14th and just got answer back on Feb 10th. We are still trying to figure out what to do and how to do it. We got discharge too and it sucks, 17+ years in and he can do his job no problem, just cant deploy.

Finally the hubby has decided to go for an appeal as we believe they rated and coded his disease the wrong way. Looked into LAS and no one seems to know much about it more then what is in Fact sheets here. Seems too risky to me as hubby is good now, not to say he will be next year.

i am going to meet nothing new on my 4 year deal w/the DES. BUT....i am going to lackland, afb to get evaluated by the doc's @ wilford hall. i guess i'm going to meet w/a specialist each day, so there can add their 2 cents to my narrative and if i need new or updated testing, i can do it right on the spot. this will be the fourth attempt @ my MEB since oct 2007. we'll see what happens.

has anyone gone and done this before? if so any info. would be GREATLY appreciated! when i get back i will creat a thred on the whole process, from beginning -end, so that it may help some of you guys/gals and any other new members. i'll try and check in while i'm down there. if anyone is planning to go and you have an injury that affects your mobility, see if they will put you up @ VOQ. it's right on the same side of the base that wilford hall is on. the least my unit could have done is authorize me a rental, since i have about 50lbs of medical records and films, then add in my medical devices, which they want you to bring to all appointments. thry told me to take a bus or a cab. that will help the pain in my back and leg ALOT standing and carrying all my stuff to and from appointments. needless to say, i don't have the energy to fight these idiots over this issue and i'm just gonna rent 1 on my own (got a good price for the week: $130.00). it's not like they don't know i'm hurt'n. i guess tin their eyes i am not disabled, but according to 2 other federal agancies i am 100% disabled (social security and retired from the dept. of justice). sorry for ranting and raveing. thank's for listening and if i can help anyone here w/anything, let me know.

Are you having issues with getting answers from the PEBLO at Hanscom? My package was sent from Hanscom in Nov. And I'm having a hard time getting any answers.

Mine was submitted in Nov from Hurlburt Field. I guess we're all in the same boat...hurry up and wait!! Should process should definitely be revised or turned over to an independent organization. This is ridiculous!

I totally agree. My DOS is supposed to be 25 Feb and I've been extended to wait for my results. I'm getting a little anxious because I just want to move on with my life!

I don't think they get that, simply because it's not affecting their lives. I'm with you...very anxious.

I can't even sucure employment because I have no idea anymore when my DOS is going to be anymore.

I feel you there. I'm getting married in April and she's wants me with her not 1,000 miles away. This flying back and forth is getting old.

I feel really bad for you. Me and my husband just want to know when I'm getting out so he can get a new assignment. He's in the Navy currently on shore duty and hates it. He's just wating on me.
