Air Force IPEB results today

40% disabled = permanent retirement

I concurred with the decision and should be officially retired in 40 days or so.

Thank you all. My package went to the IPEB on 16 April 09. My PEBLO said it was returned much more quickly than he expected and came back before others sent to the IPEB before mine from the same base.

that is fast, cause mine went out 13 feb 09 and i still haven't heard back. 18 weeks and counting

i'll keep my fingers crossed for ya. i will also post as soon as i get my results. someone in my unit just got their results back and their stuff went out w/mine or a little after.

it doesn't help that my unit only works on tuesday-friday, so not much gets done and i have a feeling when it comes in my stuff will be sitting on someones desk during a long weekend. that would set me off

My PEBLO actually seemed surprised that mine came back as soon as it did. He said the average time he is seeing is around 3 months. He speculated that because my special duty assignment is ending soon, the AF had to make a determination about my case sooner rather than later lest they spend money on sending me to a new assignment and then have me separate soon afterwards.
