I just received my PEB findings and I'm not sure what to make of it. THE BOARD FINDS THE SOLDIER IS PHYSICALLY UNFIT AND RECOMMENDS A RATING OF 20% AND THAT THE SOLDER’S DISPOSITION BE SEPERATED WITH SEVERANCE PAY. I had originally put in a retirement packet but was stopped after a medical SRP prompt an MEB

I'm guessing this means you are over 20 years active duty service? If so, you will be able to retire regularly. If you arent at 20 yet, I recommend delaying by requesting formal boards, hearings, etc.

Yes over 20 years. The PEBLO said that my recourse would be to fill out a COAD and I asked her if I could just put in my retirement packet again and she said didnt you read the paperwork you signed. eek!

In short she was not very nice especially after I told her I was not understanding and she said to get legal counsel.

You'll be retired, can't do COAD as you have to be between 15-20 years AFS or have a critical MOS. What was your original projected retirement date?
