ARNG IDES Referral on FTNGD-OTD Orders

Good afternoon,

I started on FTNGD-OTD orders with my local Recruiting & Retention Battalion on January 1st. My intention (and the recruiting command) was to get hired on AGR but ended up found with a medically disqualifying condition (not due to own misconduct) In June I was told I was unfit for continued service by the Medical Detachment, and I needed to be processed for a Non-Duty Related PEB. I signed the election paperwork for it on July 11th, along with a counseling for a LOD investigation, and subsequently requested an application be submitted to the Army Recovery Care Program. My case manager called me today and said that the ARCP application was taking too long so they're terminating the non-duty process and processing me for a MEB/PEB under the IDES.
My question now is, with my orders set to expire on Sep. 30 is there a requirement for me to remain on orders until the IDES process is complete? I know DoDI 1241.01: Reserve Component (RC) Line of Duty Determination for Medical and Dental Treatments and Incapacitation Pay Entitlements states that when a RC member on Active Duty or FTNGD orders for more than 30 days has an unresolved in-LOD condition that may render them unfit for duty under the DES, but it has not yet been determined by the DES, the SM can voluntarily remain on orders until the in-LOD condition is resolved or they're found fit for duty, separated, or retired by the DES.
Is this fact, or is there another DoDI, AR, NGR etc. that states something separate from this?
*To my knowledge the LOD investigation is still ongoing
*The origin of my condition occurred while on active duty, was fit for continued service at the time of my separation, and then developed to a point of being unfit for continued service while on FTNGD orders
*There was no willful negligence or misconduct involved

That's what I'm trying to do, Sir. I was curious as to whether or not my understanding of the regulations regarding this is correct or not. I know this situation has come up a lot with other servicemembers. Just to note, I'm on Title 32 Full-Time National Guard Duty orders, not regular Active Duty. I'm not sure if that matters for this situation or not but I know Title 32 isn't technically considered Active Duty; only Title 10 is.
