Attempting to be found fit for duty

Hello, I am currently on TDRL at 50% for PTSD and 0% for tibial stress syndrome. They attempted to move me to PDRL in May but i requested a formal board and was placed back on TDRL because of my evidence of improvement in the last couple of months. I have been told this is already exceedingly rare since the board generally doesn’t want to spend money on someone staying on TDRL. I am trying to be found fit for duty to return to the USMC. The biggest hurdle right now is that I was diagnosed with non epileptic seizures due to PTSD. My neurologist has stated that through therapy I can be rid of the condition all together and achieve complete remission. I have made vast improvements from when I was initially diagnosed having 3 seizures a day and am down to one seizure a week at the most and have been able to go for weeks without any seizures with only a couple of months of CBT. I am aware I have to be completely seizure free but I am already heading in that direction and want to put my best foot forward at my evaluation. I am not on any medication for seizures and have maintained a full time job working 24-72 hour shifts straight without any seizure activity. My biggest concern is if I am found fit for duty that I will be rejected at MEPS and will have lost my retirement benefits for nothing. Does anyone have any experience with getting back in with non epileptic seizures after they are seizure free. I’m aware seizures are tricky and that waivers can be very challenging to receive. I am just looking for advice and clarity on what my next steps should be and if anyone has being diagnosed with non epileptic seizures and if that changes anything in regards to waivers since it is not a condition associated with medication and can be treated with CBT. Everything I have read is generally associated with medication and the importance of being seizure free for years without the use of epileptic drugs, but I don’t want to shoot myself in the foot if it is a non negotiable no. Thank you.

Just know that you are risking everything for a very very very small chance of getting back in. Even if found fit while TDRL it doesn't guarantee you get back in as you have to go through the harder standards with a recruiter and so its a crazy small chance to be found fit.

Most likely you are going to lose a pension and healthcare and just a one time severance check by going this route. Have you spoke with legal counsel? What you are doing is enormously risky! It might have been better to try to go from TDRL to PDRL at 30% if you have improved and locked in a pension and tricare for life for you and your family. Then use your veteran status to serve as a DOD employee or contractor. Some contractor jobs you can get your hands dirty too. Just hoping you spoke to some good legal counsel that advised you of your chances of success and the risk involved!
