I was active duty, palace chased to guard and got a job in the guard, now I am undergoing medboard for mental health. I'll lose my civilian guard job as part of the process. Unfortunately, I had a pre-existing condition before joining and it's being marked not service aggravated (NSA).
With all of that, can I apply to and use VR&E, taking into account that I am guard and the disqualifying condition is being marked NSA? I have 100% of my GI bill, so that is still in option, but if I can use VR&E first I would like to.
