Combat related?

Hello,
Was wondering if my results come back from my IPEB and I agree with the amount of disability but do not agree if they say it is not combat related. Do I have to challenge this at a formal board or is there some other avenue if you just want to argue combat related? I ask because I am trying to get my condition linked to Desert Storm. My line of duty supports this but.
I think I am just freaking myself out waiting and wondering!

I think that is more a VA issue than a military issue.

You would have to challenge the PEB's decision if you want to do it before you leave service (though, sometimes, you can do it somewhat informally, that is, if the decision is clearly wrong, the PEB may just make an administrative correction). The other choice is through a Board for Correction of Military Records appeal after you leave the service.
