Compensation question

24 Male ad army. Peb just came back unfit for duty due to depression with anxiety symptoms. Peb said it is not compensate blew. My meb said epts but service aggravated. Still waiting for the VA results.
My question is does the VA automatically say it is noncompensatible because the PEB determined that or do they review everything and decide for themselves?
Thank you in advance for your response.

If the DoD found you fit for that specific condition, it doesn't mean that the VA doesn't look at it and assign it a rating still. It will still be assigned a rating, even if it is just 0% (don't stress, I highly doubt that would happen). The Army is just saying that they don't feel as though they condition prevents you from doing your job day in and day out. If you have proof that this is not the case, however, you could always fight it.

Sorry I wrote that wrong. The PEB found me unfit for duty but my peblo said that is also uncompensationable. Does that make sense? Thanks for the reply.
