I learned about the CRSC Benefit and applied for it just because I thought that I understood what it was. I was approved for 90% CRSC without even listing all of my VA Rated disabilities. I still have a VA SC 30% rating for Asthma that I can add. Now, after more reading into CRSC, I am totally confused, and I don't even know if it would be a benefit for me to be rated 100% for CRSC in my case. Any input is appreciated.

- Retired AD Army in Jun 2018 with 27 years, 0 months
- Retired Grade was E-8
- High 3 average was $5921.70 (Jun 2018)
- Gross Retirement Pay is currently $4578.00 (before FITW)
- VA Rated 100% T&P in Jun 2018
- CRDP is 3946.25
- No NG or Reserves time
- No REDUX
- No SBP
- Married, No children

What benefit would it be for me to rated 100% for CRSC purposes??

The main thing for you would be to reduce and possibly eliminate (if the numbers and planets align properly) your tax burden.

Retired Colonel Mike T,
Thanks for the prompt reply. The possibility of reducing my tax burden is definitely worth submitting a Reconsideration Packet to CRSC. I should be OK with my unsubmitted VA Disability of 30% for Asthma alone.
