CRSC Calculation Needed

First off, I greatly appreciate the time and guidance I've received in reading through a lot of the posts on this forum during my PEB. I recently found out my CSRC has been approved but have not been able to locate a calculator.

Disability = 50%DOD/90%VA with a payout of $1833.62
CSRC = 90%
Years of Service = 5 years 3 months
High 3 = $3125.4

Once again, I appreciate the support!!
 
What do you mean by payout?

This is the data necessary for an estimate:

Information necessary for CRSC estimate:
—High three average base pay OR the gross retired pay on DFAS RAS (which is preferred)
—DoD disability percentage
—Active duty years or active duty equivalent years
—VA compensation percentage; amount; and dependents (category, number, and ages of children)
—Approved CRSC percentage
—Other type military retirement eligibility info

Hi Ron, thank you for your response. I'm inquiring as to what the CSRC compensation would be.

My DOD disability was rated as 50% and my VA disability was rated as 90% with a compensation of $1833.62 per month
My CSRC rating was approved at 90%
I served 5 years 3 months
The high 3 base pay is $3125.4
I have 0 dependents and no other retirement information.

Is there any further information I need for the calculation? Also thank you again for your quick response and willingness to help!
 
Hello,

1. 3125.40 x 0.50 = 1562.70 (reduced to zero by VA amount)
2. 5.25 active duty years x 0.025 = 13.13% longevity multiplier
3. 3125.40 x 0.1313 = 410.37 longevity portion of retired pay

CRSC cannot exceed the longevity portion of the retirement pay; therefore, your CRSC is 410.37
