I'm medically retired with the following stats:
12 years, 2 months of service
High 3: $5,300 per month
Army disability retirement = $3700
Years of Service retirement = $1612
VA rating: 100%
DA rating: 70%
CRSC rating: 90%
This is how I understand the computation:
(VA pay * CRSC rating) - (VA Pay - Army pay)
(3187 * 90%) - (3187 - 3700)
2868.3 + 513
$3381.3
Offset calculation
Years of Service rate = 12 2/12 * .025 * 5300 = $1612
Disability pay rate = 5300 * 70% = $3700
Offset = $3700 - $1612 = $2087
CRSC Entitlement = $3381 - $2088
TOTAL CRSC = $1293
Since this is less than the Years of service amount, then I would receive $1293
Please confirm my math and process is correct.
Thanks
