Note: You seemed to be unsure of your active duty equivalent years in the NG. If 9 years 2 months is incorrect, then this estimate will be inaccurate and worthless. Your retirement orders likely contain the necessary info near the bottom of the page.

1. Assuming 2216 is your gross retired pay, 2216/0.75 DoD multiplier = 2954.67 high three average base pay.

2. Your retired pay is reduced by the amount of VA compensation received = zero retired pay remaining.

3. You said, "Guard time--9 years 2 months" I assume you have 9 years 2 months active duty.

4. 9.166 x 0.025 = 22.92 % longevity multiplier

5. High three 2954.67 x 0.2292 = 677.21 dollar amount of the longevity portion of retired pay and your CRSC.

6. Generally, CRSC for CH 61 retirees is the lesser of the
--Longevity portion of retired pay
or
--The amount associated with the percentage approved by the service concerned for CRSC...VA comp tables are used.

The new info you provided today shows your AD as 2 yrs 9 months. Your CRSC is 203.28

That results in:
1. 2216 is your gross retired pay, 2216/0.75 DoD multiplier = 2954.67 high three average base pay.

2. Your retired pay is reduced by the amount of VA compensation received = zero retired pay remaining.

3. Your orders show 2 years 9 mo AD.

4. 2.75 yrs x 0.025 = 6.88 % longevity multiplier

5. High three 2954.67 x 0.0688 = 203.28 dollar amount of the longevity portion of retired pay and your CRSC.

6. Generally, CRSC for CH 61 retirees is the lesser of the
--Longevity portion of retired pay
or
--The amount associated with the percentage approved by the service concerned for CRSC...VA comp tables are used.
