I wondering if anyone who received disability severance and was later retired years later can give a readout of their DFAS audit for CRSC. I do realize there is the recoupment process, but I’m more curious to see their audit process for multiple years in addition to the 6 year rule.
Did you-all get a breakdown year by year showing the calculation and the deductions from your VA pay?
I’m looking at 15 years of calculation along with recoupment which was also being taken out of my VA pay for many years, but they stopped at 90% because the rating given for those disabilities were moot in the overall percentage rating. Do they still factor that amount as being deducted even though it’s not due to the rating being irrelevant.
