I have been a trainee for 5 months and I could be on base for a year. I'm currently in the MEB process dealing with the VA. I'm wondering if anyone knows if I can finish this process at home? I'm told I have to get my ratings before I can leave. I have been stuck in the same building for 4 months and im not allowed to do anything as im still under Trainee status. I tried to continue and wasn't allowed because of my injuries they said they will never get better and will get worse over time requiring more surgerys. I'm just wondering if there is anything I can do to finish this process at home?

Your stuck. Been there done that. If trainee status you just have to wait it out and its not very fun! Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.
Wow if you don’t mind me asking, what injuries did you sustain whole training?
I had over 13 stress fractures in my hips some being on the ball joints. After I had the hip pinning surgery on both sides and months of physical therapy I didn't really recover. One day they just told me I'm going to go through the MEB process because im not recovering. When I get home I'm looking at getting hip replacements which was recommended by the doctors.
