To all,

Just got off the phone and rep told me PTSD decision was 70%. I havent rec'd letter.

I know this site is more MEB/PEB stuff but ANYONE who needs help just ask. I have put alot of time into the VA and the MEB/PEB stuff.

I have alot to offer and Im here. My knowledge for specific claims is limited to PTSD, TBI, Tinnitus, Hand injury, Migraines, Vertigo and Hearing loss.

For all u who r new dont forget u r the only one who really cares bout ur claim.

SO lets git to work on those VA claims

Jack

I just filed a claim for "Tinnitus, Hand injury, Migraines, Vertigo and Hearing loss." 5 out of the seven you did. I'd be interested in the numbers break down.

OBTW... Congrats.

Jack,

Not sure if it was your tedious research or that perhaps it is just by virtue of being a FISTER, but whatever reason, congratulations on your rating man!

Jack,

Congratulations! You have done a great job educating yourself and in helping others who post questions. I hope the rest of your claims and you MEB/PEB goes well, too!

Xeno,

Although this isnt a short post Ill be glad to answer any specific q/s u send to keep my ramblin to a minimum.

IM currently 10% Tinnitus, 10% Hand injury and 0% Hearing loss. I havent filed for Migraines, Vertigo, TBI and I left out 2 others. GERD and IBS.

In short Im accumulatin evidence that meets the criteria under VA regs before filing initially for Migraines, Vertigo, TBI, GERD and IBS.

Regardless of obtainin 100% or IU for PTSD Im going to file for the others. Im gonna fight. I havent even cracked a smile cause I dont care bout money. I reckon thats the PTSD talkin. I dont even feel relieved. I am on a mission. I want to see it acknowledged by the Gov't on paper and Im ready for the fight now for 100% PTSD alone. I have more than enough evidence for that now. Most of the time the vet is given a lower rating on initial claim. I expected that! But we all know it all depends on whos lookin at ur claim regardless of what ANYONE else says.

ANYONE who needs help just ask. I have put alot of time into this VA stuff so as to not to have to fight many yrs down the road like the older vets. All along the way I have kept my integrity, honesty and values bout myself.

For all u who r new dont forget u r the only one who really cares bout ur claim.

SO lets git to work on those VA claims. Noone is gonna do it for u! Remember its a 2 front fight. Claims and gittin treatment.

Jason, I still owe u an email and goin over it all to make sure Im coverin what I need to make clear to you. This 70% PTSD rating will be a big kicker on the PEB decision? Im ready for that fight too!

Carnelli, Let me tell u it was the research. I counted all my copies of VA research papers and it came to over 1000. And thats not counting my VA file. I have over 1000 PEB/MEB research copies as of now. Some might say thats overkill but I say I better to do the homework now than later. And I will git the decision I deserve! HOOOAH!!!!!

I know. I will eventually copy it all to CD to share. I will expect a bottle of JD for compensation. LOL

Salute to all the combat vets

And everyone needs to thank Jason for starting this site. Some wouldnt have a dime if it wasnt for him. He hasnt helped me with the VA stuff but he is a valuable asset wid dis MEB/PEB stuff. Jason U can now expect royalties. LOL

Hope all enjoyed Memorial weekend

Jack don't mean to beat a dead horse, but when I said by 'virtue of being a FISTER' this is what I was talking about. I don't know you or anything about you besides what you posted on here and your MOS, that's all I need to know to justify my judgment that you will get what you deserve! Good luck with everything!

Carnelli,

I read u right the first time. No problem. Do your homework right...I was just adding more to help some of these Joes that are wanting to take shortcuts. Im sure my career of bein a FISTER is bout over. Way I look at it if u cant even hear good then u dont need to call fires right? And thats w/o even including all the reg standards...

And I aint gonna be a pencil pusher after almost 20 yrs in the Infantry

Jack,
Right on brother thats the spirit no one else is gonna do this stuff for us the more vets we get here the better. A very real possibility for grassrooots change I was really moved by your post about the National guard joes that are gettin the shaft you posted about. I am one of those Joes except im allready out so i gotta fight through the ABCMR Federal court. The first case of Jack Daniels is on me Jack and Jason you guys are an inspiration. 40% VA SC
Michael

Confused,

THX but Im just jokin bout the JD. A couple of Vietnam vet friends said as much hard work and crucial copies of relevant va info should be worth alot to some. Im helpin vets cause I know alot need it. I hope I inspired somone. Normally I dont do that. Im too old school.

Keep fighting!. I think VA and DOD premise is u will give up. Hell I reckon if I had a big company economically I would be forced to do the same thing. Its the smart move. BUT we r on the other side and we r gonna fight. Right!!!!!! But u have to have the evidence on legit claims too. No ingrown toenails and PTSD claims of splilled coffee.

Jason is the man on here! And Mike and others r doin outstandin job informin folks bout their rights and the laws.

By the way Jason where has Mike been???

Eventually this site will grow n have exp folks that have been rated at 30% or higher stay on n help. Also Peblos and other folks who ARE part of the MEB/ PEB process will chime in as well. Ive noticed theyre a few who have done so already but we need posts from all who fit the bill. Give back to this site for others. Dont just take info and selfishly move on for urself.

Sorry mauybe its too early and I was very direct last night in other post on the college thing but I think honesty is the best poilcy.

JACK

Jack,

Mike got a new job a few months back, so he has been busy. We have spoke a few times, so I know that he is still working on issues. But, he has less time available than before. He posted about a week ago, I think.
