I have been in this process for sooo long. For reference:
Reason: Bipolar Disorder / Fitness failures
Oct 2022: Diagnosed with unfit condition
Jan 2023: Code 37/IRILO Notification
May 2023: NARSUM complete
June 2023: IRILO determination for full MEB
Oct 2023: VA C&P Exams
Dec 2023: 1st involuntary extension to Feb due to going past my DOS
Feb 2024: 2nd involuntary extension to Sept
Mar 2024: MEB package accepted by IPEB
Apr 2024: IPEB findings excluded the exam for unfit condition, had to submit appeal
May 2024: IPEB came back with correct findings (90%). Case was forwarded to SAFPC for dual action processing
Aug 2024: 3rd involuntary extension to Mar
It has been almost 2 years!! I’m so done!! I’m already almost year past my DOS. I am told that this dual action processing is the very last thing I need before getting orders to separate. But how long is this going to take?? I was told about the dual action processing back in May, 2 months ago, and still no update.
