End in sight, maybe, Timeline Update

I called my PEBLO yesterday my claim was closed may 24 and the peb got it back in hand on June 8 so it been there 35 days now he said he is not going to start asking question until August. Didn't even look to see if movement I'm prob gong to call peb today and ask what is going on find out if it is actually moving and not just sittin on a desk from looking at other post it was pretty quick after va closes and sends back to peb about two months ago I was seeing people get there findings about 36 days after sent back

It's so frustrating that no one is in a hurry to help us out. Mine has been there 44 days so we might be on a similar timeline. Whenever I hear back from them I am will update my thread here.

My claim closed May 7 and I haven't heard anything yet. I was told by my PEBLO that it is in the rationale phase and when I called the PEB they said that the rationales were backlogged and that was what is taking so long...but who knows what the actual truth is.

What is a rational phase from my understanding all it is peb matches unfitting conditions for dod percentage, qa phase then final sign off by peb to send back to PEBLO

Lejeune

I was in Beaufort for 3+ years. That Low country life lol

Ya it's pretty good I got a job lined up local already I feel for the ones who go through this process with a family and then move home ... It's a rough, it's mind blowing no one helps or will communicate with services members going through the IDES process

Congrats! Yea its really hard on the guys who have to relocate and start again with nothing lined up.

What I don't get is how someone people actually get phone calls, letters etc from the VA. I haven't gotten anything. The One time I was able to get someone on live chat they of course couldn't help me with my ratings.

From what the PEBLO stated they have to give a rationale for the DoD percentage that is given and type it up...guess they have some slow admins up in DC.

Yea it takes weeks to type up a letter. Glad my tax dollars are paying for that.

I was doing some lurking around with other timelines here through the page. Has anyone else noticed that the last person to receive ratings was on 8 July when their claims went historical on May 27. But before that it was quite sometime since the last Marine on this forum received ratings. The one I noticed most recent after that was June 2nd... I mean other then the electronic sending system being down. That is probably fixed by now ... I just can't wrap my mind around what could take so long especially for you who have been closed on ebenefits back at peb for 60 days now

Exactly it shouldn't take this long. They just use the "system being down" as an excuse since they aren't in a hurry to actually do their jobs.

What I don't understand more is how the same process for separation is in the army and Air Force but yet they are put on a peb and out in like 2 months. Mind blowing

Well with Air Force their people actually care about them for the most part. Or even how I know a couple guys who were med boarded and out all within 5 months. WTF is that ??

Marines that were med boarded and out in three months ?

I know one guy who used to be stationed with me that was med boarded in April. Separated in September. MIND BLOWING.

That's some bull shit ! I know a marine who had a quick timeline like that as well last year when the board was supposedly kinda fast

Yea there is no rhyme or reason. It's great to still get paid but I need to know what's going on so I can go back to school, accept some jobs etc.

I feel you I hope they give us all ours in like one mass send out once they "fix the electronic sending software"

I wish I could just get a straight answer when I call other than "I am confident it will be done in the next couple weeks." or "Any day now."
