Filed PDBR and no contact information.

Only thing I received was a letter stating that my application was received but no POC was given. I feel like I an left in the dark here. I was originally contacted by phone that I met the criteria to submit an application for PDBR review . At first I was like. What the heck is that? The operator further explained what it was and sent the application . A couple days later I received the application and I took it to my VSO for help in filling it out . And he (the VSO) was scratching his head because he never heard of this either but we managed to fill it out the best we could and mail it out. Long story short. Too late. LOL. I get a letter back and no POC. Can anyone point me in the right direction so I can find out where my application is in the review process?

The PDBR is similar to the ABCMR process. It generally takes about 1 year from the date you submit your application, to receive an answer. Calling and emailing them will not help you once you submit your paperwork. You just have to really try and take your mind off of it, and wait out the PDBR board.

PDBR cases can be reviewed here http://boards.law.af.mil/AF_PDBR.htm, as all of them are made public.

Thank you AvnSgt for answering. Not exactly what i was hoping for but I guess such is the nature of the government . I guess I should not be surprised at the answer either considering the hurry up and wait routine in the military.

I know in the ABCMR analysts who write the cases don't accept phone calls or other forms of communication. If you call they will tell you if the application was received and if it has been assigned to an analyst. If you think about it this makes sense. Everyone wants their application processed quickly. If analysts talk to everyone who calls it would seriously lengthen the processing time.

That does make sense Ed . I would imagine since there is a website posted for questions if there is not at least a separate staff that monitors and answers questions. Make sense?
