Active duty Marine going through IDES. I'm in the last phase as I started the PEB phase on April 11th. Does anyone know of finding out the status of your case? The VA website doesn't even show I have an active claim going through. PEBLO says he can't check the status. Are people going through IDES process even able to call the VA and check the status of a claim or are we in a whole different boat?

Yeah I'm all done with the exams. I'm on the PEB phase just waiting on the suits in DC to go over my case. But, even my friend who got 100% says the VA app/website shows no history of claims or dependents on record.I don't think you can track it, are you done with your C&P exams?
The va website won’t show anything until they are completed. Then you’ll get a message that fairly vague and doesn’t have much information. Also calling the 1800 number doesn’t help either. They are not allowed to release any information about your va claim during ides. The only resources I have gotten consistent help from after being at the PEB is wounded warrior, the VA 1000 number, and Jeff at the PEB.
The 1000 number can tell you super helpful info but it is extremely inconsistent. Like I'm talking 10 agents will tell you 10 different pieces of the puzzle, and the 11th agent will know everything and will tell you everything or send you everything.
Wounded warrior gets status updates weekly from a supervisor but it is typically one week behind from the truth.
Jeff can be super helpful, but he will be brief in his update and you won't be afforded time to ask questions most of the time unless they're fast and easy to answer. Be nice to the guy, I wouldn't know what to do if he stopped answering these calls.
