Good looking, I’m going to call them right now! That’s some great info! Thank you!
Guess what? I called them and they said my name hit the list this morning! He’s doing a leave calculation and I should have orders in 1-2 days! Great advice broMake sure you call your SFAC office to give them your contact information. My office wasn’t tracking me until I called. I got on transproc the day after I contacted SFAC. I should have my orders cut by Thursday according to my HR tech.
That’s great news! I don’t know why the PEBLOs don’t tell us this kind of stuff. About 90 percent of my information has come from this forum.Guess what? I called them and they said my name hit the list this morning! He’s doing a leave calculation and I should have orders in 1-2 days! Great advice bro
My case for compensation has been closed for quite some time now on Va.gov.How were you able to get your proposed ratings before the IPEB?
Can you please share the number? Ive called the one on health.mil (Phone: 210-916-7322) and no one seems so answer ive left voicemails but no ones gotten back to me. im not sure if this matters but im at ft sill. Its the Soldier and Family Assistance Center, HR techs there will cut your orders and produce your DD214
UpdateI am also at Ft Carson and in a similar situation as AnotherDay. Exams completed but waiting on NARSUM.
26 May - Referral
29 May - VA Claims
03 September- Exams complete
You can message your lawyer and ask him a prediction of your ratings??Small update.
9/11 I received my MEB case files and my NARSUM. The NARSUM and some of the details from the C&P exams did not accurately and fairly represent my medical conditions for which I am claiming.
9/14 I spoke with legal counsel. Legal counsel informed me of what percentage I am looking at for my DOD condition. Based upon information presented, I have decided to submit a rebuttal.
You can call the VA and they will give you the ratings before the fit/unfit condition is determined ??Update:
25 Sept - IMR rejected and NARSUM signed.
25 Sept - called VA to see if they have my proposed rating and they did. Overall, the ratings matched what I had anticipated aside for two conditions.
anticipating my 199 and orders within 30-90 days according to my PEBLO
When you get your NARSUM, you will review it with your legal counsel. Your legal counsel will ask you if you intend to be medically separated or medically retired. Based on what you want, the legal counsel can speculate what percentage you will most likely receive. It is not a guarantee you will receive the percentage they speculate you will receive for your DOD referees condition. You can message your lawyer and ask him a prediction of your ratings??
My case has been going on for longer than the usual length of time it takes to compete the MEB. I always check on Va.gov to see if there are any updates on my case. Eventually, my case updates and said my claim for compensation had been closed and a letter was sent to my address on file. It also directed me to wait 7-10 days after the letter had been sent before calling the va. I never received the letter so I called the VA and I was able to get my proposed ratings sent to me. Again, these are proposed rating and I only received them after my claim for compensation was updated on Va.gov.You can call the VA and they will give you the ratings before the fit/unfit condition is determined ??
So I did get my narsum and did sign it, however there was no counsel present and there was no speculations or estimations on percentages give to me. Only the peblo spoke with me during this meeting. Is this unusual or out of the ordinary? When you get your NARSUM, you will review it with your legal counsel. I guess it’s a case by case basis. So I did get my narsum and did sign it, however there was no counsel present and there was no speculations or estimations on percentages give to me. Only the peblo spoke with me during this meeting. Is this unusual or out of the ordinary?
I signed my narsum on Oct 1 and I've been waiting since, mind you I completed a MEB appeal. My VA ratings posted yesterday but I am still waiting for the 199 to be signed. Process seems like it slowed down a lot recently. I signed my NARSUM on September 30th. Anyone else waiting on their 199 or just got it back?
